It is a known fact that several “ELEGURE” has ruled in Igbogbo Kingdom from early 16th century to lately 18th century and in the year 1900 the first Oloja was installed
Festivals
There have been lots of achievements because when it’s a celebration, people of ABOSAN celebrate it, people of MERI also celebrate it and so do the people of AGEMO, KORE, TURKU, AGERE,
ASA and IGUNU people come out together. Igunu is celebrated for the youths, to bring them together but it will always be concluded that it is the Oba that is celebrating as the Oba favors every religion.
But without approval from the Oba, this celebration cannot take place because he has the final say in the community.
